Sleeping rabbit or Hare (grey or orange coloured edition) Hand Pulled Print
Sleepy grey bunny, softest fur of dusky puff grey or red russet hare. Which will you choose? Most prefer the rabbit, but I will always be a wild thing.
Inspiration: Though the mad march hare (or his near relation, rabbit, the Easter bunny) is associated with springtime, I can't help but find them autumnal; probably because of their lovely russet colouring with those orange-brown eyes. Which ever you choose, rabbit or hare, they look good at any time of year.
Process: I painted this hare with Japanese sumi-e inks and converted the picture to a screen print.
Makes a lovely gift for hare and bunny loving friends (and who doesn't love a sleepy bun?). Frame it for a wall; post it to a friend; pop it in a scrapbook. Don't forget to see my Sumi fox print, ( the daisy fox).
size A4 acid free, smooth, heavy weight cartridge paper (that's 148 x 210 mm or 5.8 x 8.3 inches). Fits standard sized frames (not supplied)
Materials I use water based (eco friendly) acrylic inks in seasonal browns, and either grey or russet orange to create this artprint. All materials are archival to last as an heirloom into the future.
Important stuff My screenprints are hand printed and hand registered by eye and unlike computer generated images are subject to slight variations that make each a unique piece of art.
